The Tudor Age was often bloody and brutal, but it also changed the course of British history forever. Its ruthless rulers – including Henry VIII and Elizabeth I – reshaped religion, defeated fearsome foreign powers and built spectacular palaces to show off their country’s growing wealth and influence.
