Sunshine styles: from the earliest golden rays through the baking yellows of midday to the pinks, oranges and deep reds of evening, our gallery this month celebrates all the colours of the sun, from its rising in the east to its setting in the west.

In this issue we are wishing a fond farewell to our long-term back-page columnist, Laura ‘Purl Princess’ Parkinson. Over the years Laura has shared her knitting and personal adventures in our pages, and we look back at some of the highlights of her time with Knitting.
