We are waiting with bated breath for Channel 4’s new knitting show to go on air in November. The Game of Wool is the first knitting competition to be broadcast and promises to be a yarny treat. Presented by Tom Daley and judged by designers and yarn producers Di Gilpin and Sheila Greenwell, the show aims to put knitting on the map and challenge stereotypes that might put people off this amazing craft. There’s a look behind the scenes to whet your appetite.

We’re also taking on preconceived ideas about knitting – like the idea that it’s only for unglamorous grannies – as we collaborate with fashion influencer Astrid Zeegen.
